Veritech Corporation is moving forward by stepping back in time after recent growth saw the company move its offices into iconic Griffith property, Invermay, in Pilloni Road.
Veritech’s previous office space at Ortella Street was established as a staging office to house the company for five years, however steady growth in the company’s Endian distribution business and Veritoken product development meant that after only four years, a larger office space was required.
Veritech CEO, Mr Livio Mazzon, said that the decision to combine cutting edge technology with a more classical office environment was made with the company’s future growth in mind and the desire to base Veritech in a unique office space.
“The Invermay homestead and acreage has been meticulously maintained and carefully added to over the years, preserving much of the property’s original features and warmth,” Mr Mazzon said.
“Over the past 12 months Veritech has experienced steady growth in our Endian Unified Threat Management business and Veritoken all-in-one portable VPN client solution. This has lead to us employing more staff and requiring additional office space for assembly areas, QA and testing and product development, as well as marketing and sales areas.”
“The Invermay property is set on an acre of land and provides ample space for our current business operations and anticipated future growth. We have carefully transformed the homestead into a dynamic and inspiring working environment by combining the latest technology with the classical features of the property,” he said.
Mr Mazzon said that while traditional office spaces had their advantages, the Invermay property was an ideal location for the new Veritech offices as it provides ample space for an expansive workshop area; shelved warehousing for storage; a dedicated, temperature controlled server room with failover ventilation; and parking space for customers and staff.
“Our staff enjoy a panorama not usually available to IT workers with all office areas looking out onto the beautiful gardens located on the property which include a palm-lined driveway and pond with a fountain and footbridge,” Mr Mazzon said.
“Our office design incorporates the past and the present, with our reception area being furnished with period pieces while the management offices and boardroom have been fitted out with state-of-the-art technology. We really do get to enjoy the best of both worlds!” he said.
Additional power outlets and around 4km of data cabling were installed at the property to ensure the building was equipped for the most stringent corporate use, and state-of-the-art security systems sense and record any out-of-hours activities with instant notification to security personnel and management.
